this is how i did mine.

the l4310 has no option for a mid pto. erskine makes a good front mount snowblower that runs off the rear pto, thats what i have also.

Pats are good also because they dont take up much room at the back. I have a erskine front mount rear drive blower and with pats hitch i can still hook up the back blade with lots of room for the blower drive on the rear.

I use lucas spray oil, when i hits the chain it is foamy to stick, then soaks into the rollers great.

Ebay probably but you will have to pay for it there. I looked for service manual for my l4310 and ebay was the cheapest. Never could find a free one.

Here ya go jayhawk, the lower one is a little hard to see but its there. I have zip ties over the holes in the summer to keep dust a dirt out. The hole is a 3/32 i think, just big enough to get the tube from a can of wd40 into. I lubed them up when i went out to take the pic for you. Thanks for...

wolfman, am i going to have to drain the hydraulic oil before removing the pump?

Thanks wolfman, i'll go look at my tractor tomorrow in the daylight. Is this pump about the same size as the injector pump? Also when i install the pump is there anything i have to do like prime it or just hook up and good to go?

Wolfman im using sudt2 oil? Where is this pump? I can't seem to find any diagrams showing where it is located on the tractor?

gaining engin oil, HELP HI all, i seem to be losing hydraulic oil and gaining engin oil in my l4310 hstc. What would be causing this? Any help would be very much appreciated.

Just a update on my pipe cutting edge. NFG, took it off this mornning. The snow does not feed into the blower smoothly leaving piles at the sides. Still digs into soft spots . Back with the original cutting edge things worked much better feed wise, but have to watch not to dig in too. Oh well it...

I welded tabs that bolt in five spots where the cutting edge attaches.

ireops, here is my way of doing it. It cost a little more then your way(35 dollars) but might last a little longer. Schedule 80 black iron pipe. In the pic it is not tightened down yet.
