    Killed 2 Regulators B7100HST

Could it be a bad battery? It should start with a jump easy. Load test the battery and see if it has a short. If the battery is good check grounds and be sure all are good. Have a look at the wires and be sure that you have no green on the connectors. Good luck

    L225D blowing oil - help!

If you are not sure how much oil is in your tractor drain it into a pan and see how much is in it. I have seen some threads that were talking about rebuilds where the owners were doing all the labor themselves and it being around 1,300 for parts and machining the block. You will have to decide...

    L225D blowing oil - help!

Just a thought could it be sludge buildup not letting the oil drain from the valve train back to the oil pan? May want to pull the valve cover and have a look and see if there is a lot of sludge. Maybe rebuild time.

    High Pressure head gasket leak

My radiator has a short neck that goes down into it, I fill it to the bottom of the neck not to the bottom of the cap. I get a little out of the overflow hose some times when working hard but after the first time it stops and doesn't do it anymore. I also agree you should see bubbles in your...

    What would happen if?

You are right on reversing the fan. I held it up to the dynamo and looked at it, looked better in my mind than in the real world. LOL Maybe a electric fan on the front of the radiator with a double pole double throw center off switch. One way blow through the radiator to help the fan when...

    What would happen if?

What would happen if i mounted the fan on my B7100D back wards? Would it be better to have the fan blow trough the radiator so all the grass and dust wouldn't stick to it? I've looked at the fan and it looks like it will bolt onto the dynamo with out any problems. Any body tried this?

    B7100 oil psi

I hope for your sake that it is something simple and you don't have to do a complete tare down. One more thing when I got my new oil filter it is different than the one that was bad. The new one is smaller and looks more like the one that goes on my Briggs. I asked my dealer and he said that...

    B7100 oil psi

1.The small line went to the guage. 2. When i was showing 3psi it was with the filter off and i was using a old fuel oil pump to pump oil into the motor, trying to see where the oil was coming out of the most. After I did all of my checks with my oil filter by pass set up and had oil psi the...

    B7100 oil psi

GOOD NEWS changed filter hooked up radiator and front frame (not in that order) fired up the motor oil psi went to 60 and dropped to 35 after 15 min. idling, come off idle to 1500 or so and sat dead on 60. Going to let it cool off and set the rockers, put on new oil pan and front cover and front...

    B7100 oil psi

Well was getting ready to pull engine and do a complete tear down and decided to try 1 more thing. I used IPZ2222 idea to check the oil pump so I taped the small hole at the bottom where the oil filter goes on with a 1/8 pt, rigged it up tied the compression release on and turned the motor over...

    B7100 oil psi

I was referring to the plugs in the cam its self. The plug in the front of the cam has 2 holes in it near the bottom of the plug. I just went out and checked you can stick a .030 wire from a MIG welder into the 1 on the left and the 1 on the right is a little smaller. The plug is bent and...

    low oil pressure L235

Not sure if this will work for you but on my B7100D I removed the bolts that hold the front frame to the motor and jacked the tractor up from the center(mine has a loader on the front) brackets until I had enough room to remove the oil pan over the drive shaft.
