Converting a PTO driven backhoe to remote driven.

Turns out I misjudged the depth of the PTO pump and had to cut out my cross member and move it back ~6 inches. All good now. First little bit of digging and man, what a difference between this on my l2501 hard mounted and 3 point mounted on my 6200. Getting the adapter on and off the BH is a...

Converting a PTO driven backhoe to remote driven.

No worries. I’ll be using the two upper mount points on the subframe.

Converting a PTO driven backhoe to remote driven.

I’ve temporarily given up on the retrofit to tractor hydraulics. Adapter about 70% done. Still need to add the top pin brackets, reinforcements and the grind and paint.

Converting a PTO driven backhoe to remote driven.

It's a "BH5600", whatever that is. I'm not sure exactly as I bought it used. I'm sure it's just like any number of chinese 3pt backhoes you see floating around.

Converting a PTO driven backhoe to remote driven.

I purchased the backhoe subframe (for the bh77) along with the tractor and plan on fabricating an adapter for the (now) 3pt backhoe. And yeah, in general the 3pt hoe was just barely usable and probably not good for the old tractor. I just don't want to deal with the pto pump as it's kinda...

Converting a PTO driven backhoe to remote driven.

Hey All, I just got a brand new L2501 with rear remotes that I'm super excited about. Yay me. As an upgrade from the b6200 it's night and day. I have a 3pt PTO driven backhoe that I'd like to use with the new tractor. Does anyone think there'd be any problem plumbing one of the rear...

    b6200hst exploded 4wd ujoint

My parts in and and I chose to replace the leaking seal at the same time. I'm now struggling to figure out how to get the nut off the drive shaft. Levers on the hubs don't seem to do much good as there's too much torque involved. Any advice? I'd like to avoid disassembling the shaft further...

    b6200hst exploded 4wd ujoint

Well, I wish I had an explanation for this: First, I don't think there is supposed to be oil in there. Isn't that a dry joint? I think the front seal is leaking. Second, how does this even happen? I was discing at the time in 4wd and heard a bang. limped back to the garage (perhaps I should...

Ahh, bummer. Well, subframe only it is, then. Thanks! Sean

"Plug, Blind" on B6200 rear axle case

Did you ever find out? I suspect it's just a placeholder for the backhoe mount. At least that's what it looks like from the various diagrams I've seen.

    b6200d backhoe subframe/hydraulics question

Hi All, I've gotten so much out of this forum. Thanks in advance:) I recently purchased a chinese bh5600 3 point mount backhoe. It works well enough though may be a tiny bit too big to mount on my b6200 three point. I'm going to build a subframe mount for it and have a couple questions. 1)...

    B6200 lift pin size

I think the top pins are 3/4, not 7/8. Bad memory of measurement on my part. I'll try to get some more pics today when I troubleshoot a little electrical problem I've been having:) I ended up re-using the old pins (even though one was bent) just to get the tractor back in action. This seems...

    B6200 lift pin size

After some work with the calipers and looking at the older/new pins it looks like they are cat0 pins? Was that standard on the b6200 originally? Looks like I have to track down cat 1 pins with 12mm threaded bolt for the arms. I could get something fabricated, I suppose. I'm googling like crazy...

    B6200 lift pin size

Hey All, Need a little advice here. I finished putting my new arms back on my 3 pt lift and just got what I though was the correct lift pins in the mail today. 66706-65280 according to the parts manual I have. However it's much, much small in both diameter and length than the pins that were on...

    B6200HSTD Help

Turns out you just bang them in with a mallet:) even though this kit was different from the original specs for the 6200 it worked great. Messicks even said in an email it was for the 7100 only but that's totally incorrect. Shaft, arms and pins were only 200 instead of much more for the...

    B6200HSTD Help

Looks like the replacement arms I got have a pin spring and solid arm instead of a gap and a bolt. Other than that they appear to be exactly the same. Does anyone know how to install the pin spring correctly? The WSM doesn't really cover that.

    B6200HSTD Help

Thanks. I wonder do you have to drain the fluid to remove the lift cover? Or rather, do you need to remove the lift cover in order to replace the shaft/arms? I have the manuals, (thanks, wolfman) but it's not clear if it needs to be drained to do the above. Sean

    lift arm/shaft parts compatibility (B6200/B7200HST)

Re: lift arm/shaft parts compatibility (b6200/B7100HST) Title is wrong. Comparing the 72/62. Great to know they are the same parts. Thanks, Sean
