That was my plan for after work this evening, but I got distracted with buying another home 1300 miles away. The Kubota had to take a back seat. If the house deal goes through, The Kubota will have to find a new owner. :(

I know the terminals on the battery & battery cable ends are clean. Cleaned them again this afternoon when I put the battery back in. I have not looked at the cable ends at the starter yet.

I do have a good set of jumpers that I made out of welding cable. I will give your idea a try too. Much appreciated!

The 5 gallon bucket of Super UDT2 arrived yesterday, so today I went ahead and finished up the 300 hr. service today. The old trans/hydraulic fluid was nice & clean. No problem at all getting the strainer out. Just a few tiny metal flakes stuck on the screen. Spun on a new external filter...

Thanks for the information. The strainer is in the lower left side as you mentioned. Good idea regarding draining some fluid out of the strainer opening before opening the lower drain plug. I assume you can remove the strainer without removing the tire?
