    Over running clutch sticking?

Was mowing with my B7100 and rear finish mower. Stop momentarily, and when I release clutch again, mower doesn't turn and I hear a clicking/ratchet sound whenever clutch is released. Moved the tractor and tried again with same result. So I disconnect shaft to mower and try again. PTO shaft not...

    L295DT Model 1200 hydraulics

I've got a L295DT with model 1200 loader. The hydraulic lines to the loader valve are connected to an aluminum block on top of the tractor's pressure relief valve (under the left side of the tractor's seat). I'd like to operate a 3PT tree spade on the tractor that has an open center valve. My...

    L225 Tach

I'm working on an L225. Tach is not working, but when I disconnect the cable at the tach drive, and use a drill to turn it, the tach works. So, I turned my attention to the tach drive. There is a tab in there which is turning as it should. Problem is, the tach cable does not have a slotted end...

    L295DT stick shift is stuck

Was operating my L295DT yesterday, when stick shift started acting up. Prior to this problem, all gears and shift selector were operating normally. Now, the stick will only engage in 1st gear and the engine wants to stall if you release the clutch in that gear. It will go to neutral, and tractor...

    Clogged hydraulic vent L295DT

Anybody know a good way to clear a clogged hydraulic vent elbow on the L295? Looks like bugs or mud wasps clogged it. Tried using a wire and vacuum cleaner, but can't get past the bend in the elbow. Is the vent pipe threaded into the hydrailic cylinder, such that I could remove it for cleaning?

    L295DT - Interesting find

So I acquired a L295DT recently at a very good price because it had a frozen clutch and was traded in to a dealer who didn't want to deal with the repair. Got the tractor split today, and pulled flywheel to service it and replace the pilot bearing. That's when I found something very interesting...

    Question re: L295DT clutch split

I'm almost ready to split my newly acquired L295DT for clutch replacement. Does anyone know how to disconnect the propeller shaft? Do I merely disconnect the propeller shaft cover from the drivecase and the shaft pulls out with the front end of the tractor, or is there more to it? I-T Manual...

Seized front axle pin - L225

Anybody got a suggestion on how to remove a seized front axle pivot pin on a 2wd L225? I am trying to replace bushings, but can't get it apart. Looks like the head of the pin was broken off by a previous owner, and there is a tang welded to the end of the pin in order to turn it. Won't budge...

    L225 Serial # help?

I bought a used L225 (Serial # 10568) in northern VT. A rep at Kubota in GA told me it's not a valid serial # for the USA. I'm thinking it could have been sold in Canada originally. Anybody know how to track it down? Thanks.
