1/4" Quarter Inching Hydraulic 3-Point Control Valve

This looks similar to the " 1/4" inching valve" on the bx series. InTheWoods has it correct. It merely keeps the valve from opening to its full extent so you can more precisely move the three point. In effect it slows down the speed of raising or lowering by not letting the valve open all the...

BX23 dumb question on Backhoe 3 point

I have a Betstco FH-SG24 I use on my BX2370. Yes, it's heavy and I have to be careful using it. However, I've used it on some pretty large stumps with success. It CAN throw the tractor around and there is a learning curve to using it. In spite of that I was surprised at how well the BX handled...

Using vacuum to not lose hydrostatic fluid?

When I changed the underside fuel filter on my BX, used a shop vac, funnel, and some duct tape. Might have lost 1 or 2 drops of fuel. Much better than having diesel fuel fill up your underwear. :ROFLMAO:

Any way to adjust mid mt mower lift in relation to 3 pt lift

After fully raising the mower deck, turn the mower deck height position knob to the position marked "Top". That will lock the mower deck in the raised position and allow the 3 point to operate independently of the mower deck.

    Stump grinder on bx23?

I have a Betsco SG24 on my BX2370. The BX handles it a lot better than I thought it would. Just have to take small bites and go slow. Also had to install rear hydraulics kit.

    bx2380 airflow direction

BillSz You are correct. Remember the engine in a BX is mounted BACKWARDS. The fan pulls air from the operator station FORWARD through the engine compartment. To backflush the radiator you would flush FROM the engine side of the rad (FRONT) through to the operator station station side (REAR).

New BX2380 ROPS pin holes not lining up

Had a similar problem on my BX2370. Pins hard to line up, hard to raise and lower. Tried several things, loosen bolts, lube, etc. Even tried enlarging pin holes. It seems to be high strength steel, metal seemed very hard to drill. Finally got irritated enough with it that I took it apart at the...

    Adding Rear Remotes to BX

I just installed the BX7326 rear aux. kit on my BX2370. The only fittings that need some type of sealant are where the quick couplers attach to the tubes. The instructions from Kubota state- and I quote- "Wrap sealing tape around the ends of the pipe, insert the plugs and tighten up the couplers."

    BX FEL question

If you have the parking brake set when trying to raise the front up, the rear wheels are locked making it much harder to raise the front off of the ground. As the front lifts, the rears become a pivot point and need to rotate. Just something to check.

    BX1860 Rear Snowblower, Woodmaxx???

I would be hesitant to try a 60" on a BX1860. The lift capacity may be the same but I think the frame and tires are smaller.

    BX1860 Rear Snowblower, Woodmaxx???

I have a BX2370 which is a little more powerful than an 1860. Two years ago I bought a Woodmaxx SB48. Very heavily built machine. I wish now I would have gotten an SB60 but I was concerned about the extra 200lbs of weight on the end of the 3point (500 vs 700). But I think now the 2370 could have...

Quick Hitch and ballast box issues

Although I don't have a Quick hitch I had the same problem with a three point snow blower and a ballast box. I replaced the solid link with another adjustable one. I found it online for about $25. Solved the problem!
