    Taters

No way it had anything to do with those nasty tater bugs ? they'll eat the tops clean off if unchecked. That's the biggest reason I try to move the tater patch every year, as far as possible. OH YA, ditto on the deer problem, but I forgive them a little bit every fall as I cook up those...

    Garden question

I admit that I didn't read through all responses but to me it sounds like a germination problem. The plants are bigger and healthier but no fruit. Perhaps there are no bugs or bees to complete the germination process.

When I bought my back hoe I never thought I would be using it for this.

So sorry for your loss, I to have had the misfortune to out live several awesome devoted Buddies, mostly black Labs, in my 50 plus years. It never gets any easier to see one go, but nobody can take away all the good memories and the quirky little things they do. The way I look at it...

    Age poll

55 - and some days feel every bit of it Is it just me, or does it seem that every year goes by faster than the one before ?

All I can say , is thank goodness my ( almost as old as me ) L2850 Kubota isn't run by a computer.

    Puye geeks

well I might be an old fossil but I'm still using windowsXP, which does everything I want it to do, and even some things I don't want it to do. When I pick up the wife's new state of art (and already obsolete and worthless) laptop with windows 8, I can't find anything. I haven't seen any...

    Happy Canada, eh!

I would also like to thank our best ( and technically only ) neighbours, to the south for thinking of us on Canada Day, yesterday, ( groan....back to work today ) and on behalf of all Canadians I would like to wish you all a Happy and Safe 'Independence Day'. P.S. Would somebody please explain...

    How full is your barn/garage/bldg?

Dang, and I thought I was the only one who can't even get into my garage to work anymore. Built a 24'x26' garage then added a 10'x12' shed to one side, followed by a 10'x24' lean-to all across the back, DOH still not enough space. Have 2 trucks, two snowmobiles, two quads, 3 boats, a SUV, and a...

Ideas for speed bumps on gravel road

Well you did mention that you had already purchased a set of plastic speed bumps rated for 10 tons, what do you have to loose if you put them down ? I'd think that even if they got squashed a bit they would still provide a bit of a bump to slow people down. But agree with others on here that...

Well I think I'm ready to trade

Nice Tractor Almost called the dealer up to see how much it would be to add a heated cab on my tractor, but the little wifey aint as forgiving as yours, and I'd be getting more than just the look.

    Thought I'd pass this along...

I haven't seen this tool before but it sounds like a great idea, I'll have to try and find one in my area.

    albino buck

There's been reports of a piebald moose around my neck of the woods, but why would anyone want to kill a one in a million animal. I hunt for meat on the table, and a 2 -3 year old is perfect, I don't agree with trophey hunting - if that's all you want take a picture. You can't eat the hide or...

    skunks

Ha Ha, but very good useful information, just wish I knew about this a couple of years ago. While camping our dog cornered a skunk underneath our truck with predictable results. The dang critter sprayed everything under the truck including the exhaust/muffler and of course the dog. What a stink...

    L Series Axle Vent

A.....H I have always had problems withthe front diff on my L2850 building up pressure and leaking after running it for awhile, and always wondered why it wasn't vented. It even blew the bottom cap off once and I lost almost all the diff oil. Posted that question on hear awhile ago, about if...

    Deer Fencing

X2 on the electric fence. Cattle and horses learn pretty quick to stay away from an electric, so I'd think deer would learn pretty quick as well. Plus would be alot cheaper.
