Great suggestion! I should have thought of it!o(

    PTO Engine Cutoff Switch

With the PTO running you are suppose to be able to exit the driver station and have the engine continue to run by lifting the seat. Yesterday it worked just fine but this morning when I lifted the seat the engine stopped. I checked both micro switches and can hear them click on and off. Is there...

    LA844 Issue

Wolfman, I'm having the same problem and I've narrowed it down to the cylinders. However, when I go to Merrick's for kits, they say I have to have the SN of the loader before they can tell me which cylinder kit to get and they are NOT interchangeable. My problem is the data sticker was pretty...

    forward reverse pedal

Myne was not returning either. I bought a replacement and then removed the old damper. To my dismay the front bushing of the old damper was frozen to the retaining pin. We needed to use the tractor so I figured I could do what I was doing before and just neutralize it manually. To my surprise...

    Leinbach auger height issues

I may be wrong but it appears you have the yoke attached to the hole closest to the tractor. If you move it to the one farthest from the tractor it will give you more lift at the auger end.

Hydrolic top link for kubota mx5800

The tractor end is CAT 1 and as MtnViewRanch said it is narrower. However, I just cut the ears off the CAT2 base and use a bushing, also cut to length, at the tractor end. The one I put on mine is 23 5/8" - 34 11/16" (11 1/16" stroke) and is still too short for my chipper by about 1/2" so the...

R1 or turf? what's the best tire for which use?

I've had all 3 types and understand your dilemma. R4's would be the best choice for your situation - IMHO. You may need chains in the snow ... I wouldn't know as the only snow I see is on the mountain up 9,000 -14,000 ft. Mud I know. All tires types will spin under the wrong conditions at the...

    Ethonol free Gasoline.

We have several stations that sell E00 here in Hawaii. The price is the same as Premium. Costco even has an E00 pump but the price is a little bit higher than Premium. Premium is running 25-30 cents more than Regular here.

    MX5100 Floor Plate Removal

Good idea ... I'll give it a try. However, as I said before this is a very poor design that Kubota should remedy in future models. There is a "lip" running along the front of the floor pan and if it had been removed at the point the pan traverses the hump on the transmission we wouldn't have...

    MX5100 Floor Plate Removal

Well I got the pedals free. They won't move up but I can get them down against the "firewall" but it is still not enough by 1" ± to pull the floor plate back far enough to lift out. Sooooo, I guess it's removing the fenders unless someone has a secret process. This a very poor design. When I...

    MX5100 Floor Plate Removal

Thanks Pat. After posting I was looking through the workshop manual to see if I missed something and found the break linkage diagram. I'll see if I can get to the clevis pins.

    MX5100 Floor Plate Removal

I have a hydraulic line broken that goes from left over the top of the transmission below the pedals. It's identified and ordered but it will take another week to get here. So I figured I'd get floor plate out of the way before it gets here. I removed all of the bolts holding down the floor...

    MX4700 Brush Guard

Too bad you had to use the return ticket. Maui's nice but the Hamakua Coast of the Big Island is paradise and life is a lot slower here.
