    BX2200 Running rough

My BX started running rough. It seems to sort of cycle: running ok, then running rough. It has just under 200 hours on the clock. I checked the air filter and it was pretty clean. I replaced the fuel filter, which may have improved things a bit. I had my kid siphon out the diesel and he will...

    B8200 - Need advice mounting 3ph backhoe

If you could post pictures of what you've got it might help. I am not familiar with the specific configuration, but if you show us we might be able to figure it out. I have an L3010 with a Kubota 3ph backhoe and I found it hugely helpful to make a dolly for the hoe.

    Tiller advantages/Size

I have an L3010HST (which I think is 30HP) and I bought a 48" tiller. My tiller (and most tillers so far as I know) 'side shift' so you adjust them such that they cover your right hand wheel track. We have very rocky ground, and I wanted to make sure I had the HP. I am pleased with my tiller -...

    Price of parts...Holy Cow!

I thought those are just 1" pins. I'd order some from Princess Auto or go shop at a local farm supply. You may have to drill a hole or something, but that metal is pretty soft. I'd make 'em before spending that kind of money.

BX2230 Is Going to Kill Me

I have a BX, but not that BX, but I have had no pedal problems. Have you looked at greasing it and/or liberal applications of a penetrating lubricant? It could be the pedal or linkage, and not the HST which is slipping.

Freeze plugs and me. Pulley question.

Its a little late for this, but as a general rule it is a good idea to mark parts with paint or a punch before taking them off. I don't know, but probably this balancing is done at the factory with special equipment. If you are really lucky and you remove the pully (mark it first) you might be...

    an iritating problem

I have exactly the same tractor and loader, but fortunately, not the same problem. I have the tractor service manual as well, but I don't think it includes the information on the loader. Just in case - are you absolutely certain the three point hitch is not in the 'up' position? This screws...

    Tiller parts needed

I don't have a Kubota tiller, but I lost 2 blades and I took an example to a local agricultural supply dealer (Eastern Farm Machinery in Guelph, Ontario) and I said I need some of these and he found something which fit. I could have just been lucky.

    removing blades

As written, it depends. You might have a rust problem or be forcing the other way. Usually I block the blade with a 2x4 and put a power bar and give it a whack with a rubber hammer. Usually thats all it took. If it didn't move, I'd try the other direction.

    S850 drive chain

Kevint From what I read, chain problems are often associated with sprocket wear, so its not unusual to change both. I bought sprockets without hubs for 'weld on' application. I was lucky in that I found some with IDs which were pretty close to the hubs I had. I pulled of the old sprockets no...

    S850 drive chain

I have posted this suggestion before, but you might consider replacing the sprockets with standard sized ones with roughly the same tooth ratio. Sprockets are cheap, but you may have to get a machine shop fit them to the respective axles. I had chain problems with an old baler and I did this.

    54" Caroni Tiller

If you happen to have a concrete pad (garage floor, etc.) you will find it a lot easier to hook up attachments if you leave them on dollies. I found my tiller a major PITA to hook up until I made a dolly - 4 casters and 4 2x6s held together with bolts.

    chain breaking

You might look in to simply replacing the sprockets and the chain if you can't find a replacement. Sprockets aren't that expensive.
