I need to replace the Hood cushion on my L225 restoration. Its the long u channel strip going around the hood where it rest on the dash. Is anyone using something else other than the factory cushion, part number H3410-18130?? Kubota wants almost $60. I'm sure something else can be used. Thanks

Also the part numbers for the Tach cable are the same between the L225 and L185. SO that should bolt up.

I've been restoring a L225 for the past 1 1/2 years. The sheet metal is half done(terrible rot). It's time for me to see about getting a new Tach/hour gauge. The glass is broken and water intrusion corroded the insides. Kubota want over $185 for one, assuming they can get one. Ebay has a NOS...

Thanks billrigby. It took several months, on the weekends. After jacking up on the rear axles, it started to leak. The axle seals were hard and brittle. Took both rear axles out and replaced all seals and bearings, and nuts. Also replaced all seals for the hydrolic lift(every o ring and seals)...

Thanks 85hokie. I did see the radiator you posted a link to. I'm not sure if that would work. I don't know the size of it. Also the lower neck is bent down, whereas mine is strait. I'd hate to buy it and I could not get it to work. Had anyone else used a L175 radiator on a L225?
