I've been restoring a L225 for the past 1 1/2 years. The sheet metal is half done(terrible rot). It's time for me to see about getting a new Tach/hour gauge. The glass is broken and water intrusion corroded the insides. Kubota want over $185 for one, assuming they can get one. Ebay has a NOS listed at $75, but for a L185/L245. It looks exactly the same, with the exception of the "oil" light sockets has just a blue wire whereas my L225 has a blue wire and red wire. Blue coming from the Oil pressure switch and Red going to the Fuse block.

I could reuse my old light socket on the low oil pressure light. My only concern would be the gearing in the Tach Gauge. I think the gearing is made at the front of the engine cover.

Does anyone think this could work?
