I have another question? This is tractor maintenance week. I had surgery on my foot so mobility is difficult for me. Having said that, I hobbled back in to the pc to ask....I am trying to drain the radiator. I turned the cock. Nothing is coming out. I am assuming it is clogged. Any suggestions...

Ok. I found the to nuts with the friction washer. I am assuming that I loose the first nut closest to the lever and then tighten the bolt closest to the washer. yeah or nay.

    3 point lift lever L1801

Morning, I have an L1801 Kubota. Yesterday my husband changed the oil hoping this would correct the lift lever issues. Apparently, it did not. When you lift and let go the lever falls back down a quite a bit. You have to hold it to keep the implement up. Is there a way to adjust the lever to...

The tractor would not start. We replaced the battery checked connections. Still, no start. We need to locate the clutch safety switch and then how do we determine if that is the problem? FYI the tractor was running fine. It was cut off and then we needed to restart to lift the tiller a bit and...

Tractor won't start after changing filer on L1801

This is the MRS> so let me clarify...The lever on the left is the transmission. Currently that lever is in hi. We have not moved it because we were not sure what it was. I am understanding from your post that if I have the PTO in low then the transmission lever on the left can be in hi. And if...

Tractor won't start after changing filer on L1801

It's the MRS. again. I lucked up and was able to get an original Parts Manual for the L1801. The parts manual says the red top lever is "aux s- change lever". Now, on the gear box directly below between the seat and steering wheel is a PTO hi/lo. My understanding of the parts manual leads me to...

Tractor won't start after changing filer on L1801

This is the MRS. and yes of course I did:) I ordered an operators manual for a L185 in the hopes it would help me identify unknown levers. That hasn't worked out so well. Ok so my tractor is a L1801 grey market and my Japaneese is rusty. lol While sitting on the tractor, there is a lever with a...

Tractor won't start after changing filer on L1801

The tractor is mine. I have been working the garden and the yard with a walk behind tiller and push mower. It gets rough in triple digit heat. I might let my husband ride it a time or two. lol The MRs.
