I'm also planning to build a pole barn out building. Can you describe how you installed the rigid insulation into the frame of your building? What were the spacings of our structure and how did you install the board....thickness?, and what did you cover the board with?, walls?, ceiling? Thanks

I'm familiar with the controls.....what is missing is the little knob/screw on the 3point control on the right fender that allows you to set a STOP at some level. On my tractor this screw knob is missing..... I'm not talking about the control valve between your legs the adjusts the 3point flow...

Thanks, there is no screw on my new tractor....I'm guessing that it was either never installed or it was loose and fell off during the truck ride out. I'll call the dealer and request help....

I have a new B2650 and I just noticed that there is no way to "lock" the position of the 3 point. There is no way to limit it either. Is there something missing on my tractor or is this normal?? I'm not close to the dealer so I can't easily stop by to take a look.... Thanks

I have a brand new B2650 and I'm wondering what the correct "min." engine speed is supposed to be?? The slowest engine speed is about 1120 rpm....what is the slowest speed supposed to be?? Thanks

My choice of a B2650 showed up today......

Maybe the pressure switch is set at a fairly high pressure, so it takes a bit of time to turn off the light??

I just went through this decision myself, i think the difference was either $1500 or $1800. The motor, while having the same stated HP, is in fact smaller in displacement, which shows up as lower torque....less power. The bucket is smaller, the mmm mower deck, while still a 60" deck, is...

I have heard of people lining the inside of their mower deck with spray on liner to make it easier to clean the underside of the deck. Does anyone have any experience doing this? Since I am getting a new 60" mmm deck, this would be a great time to do it before I use it the first time...

Thanks for your thoughts and ideas. I bought a B2650 today with a 60" mmm, front bucket and a 72" rear blade. I'm sure that I will be back with lots of questions after I get the tractor and need help figuring stuff out.

What is a typical discount from list for a new tractor and equipment?? I'm not trying to squeeze the last dollar out of the dealer, but I don't want to over pay either.

I used to have a B1700 with a 60" mmm and I had lots of fencing and bushes to trim around and I was very comfortable getting close and doing it fairly fast. I used a rear blade for snow and it was a pain to have to turn my head around to see everything. My current smaller tractor is a 54" mmm...

You guys are making me think twice about which deck to get? I'm mostly cutting a field ( though my wife thinks it's a lawn ) and I cut it to around 4"'s height. My current tractor is a JD445 with a 54" deck that seems to cut this way without any problems.....but I am concerned that the 72" deck...

I will be buying a new B2650 and I'm trying to decide which mid-mount deck to get? I think I'd like the 60" deck, but I need to have a drive over deck and I've been told that only the 72" deck is drive over? Does anyone have any experience with a 72" deck on the B2650? And, does the 60" deck...
