    TL1500 flail vs dog fennel

Hadn’t had alot of seat time this year, just haven’t had the energy, but needed to get a small field cut since it’s been 6 months or more since I last cut it. It’s about 3 acres and takes about 3 hrs to cut it with the flail mower but this is the tallest I have ever let it get. It does leave...

    Power beyond / Diverter valve

Best addition I did to my tractor, I use it for a grapple on my bucket it's been working perfectly for over 2 years. I used this valve , HERE There's a thread on it here, http://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11429 It is not very difficult to do, if I had to do it over...

    Fuel Storage

This has worked pretty good for me, though I don't use a lot a fuel it gives me 2 tanks and easy to transport/refill http://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/scepter-duramax-flo-n-go-14-gal-cap

    3rd function kit

It isn't very complex to do yourself, if you have a good hose shop nearby, this diverter, a few hoses, and a cheap button with a couple quick connectors it probably can be done for around $400. This valve has worked great on mine for 3 years, though my $6 button had to be replaced this yr...

    scrape blade for B2920

If I remember right, the lift arm lift my blade up a few inches off the ground but by shortening the top link that will raise the blade up quite a bit. It's easy for me with a hydraulic top link but it would be a pain with a manual top link. TRI seems to show heavy duty blades available but if...

    scrape blade for B2920

Hey Freddie, Not an expert here, but I have a b2620 and a 5' countyline blade I use a lot, it does a good job and I think a 5' fits our size tractor pretty good. I've got a local dealer here that stocks the Tennessee river implements I've seen, they look pretty good, not the heaviest duty but...

Brand new BX - too long to start?

Is your throttle set that high to idle that high when it starts automatically or do you have it pulled back and the push it forward in the video ? I usually just crack the throttle a little to probably about 1500 rpm to start and it starts just after a few revs. Might not make any difference...

    Bush Hog Brand Cutter

That was a good buy, look like it was not abused. You'll get your investment back easily. I would have bought it for $250 even though I don't need it.

    Cash vs financing

I think with 0% interest they just get the interest you would pay over the term of the loan up front, so if you pay in full they can discount that amount.

    MIG Welder Mentoring

I needed a new welder about 2 yrs ago and ended up buyin a thermal arc mig/stick unit and really like it. Very capable mig on 120 or 220. For the price you might want to check into it, it's labeled as Tweeco now. http://www.bakersgas.com/THEW1004201.html

    Quick Hitch Help

Interesting top hook adjuster, I'd not seen one like that before. Looks like if you wanted it to hook completely you could drill another hole or 2 in the plate that the hook is welded to to raise it above the top setting

    Land Plane Scraper Question

Not 100% sure but I'd think angled blades help with smoothing, cutting and spreading and probably just reducing the bite they take as you pull it along, I'd think straight blades would also work pretty good and I think I've seen some made that way too. I plan on building one soon sometime but...
