I have a ZG222 used it last week now it has lost compression on one side 75lbs vs. the other side 150lbs also just started smoking the mower has about 450 hours. any help would be greatly appreciated
A broken ring certainly seems plausible with the oil burning going on. My first thought was a valve issue but there would need to be high hours or other wear factors to wear a guide enough to have oil getting past. Id pull the head on that side and look sooner rather than later. Broken rings can score cylinders.
