Trying to find a specific ag tire

I am trying to find a new (or NOS) pair of Carlisle Farm Specialist R-1 tires in 8-16, 6 ply.

Although sellers are advertising these as 'in stock', it appears as if Carlisle is no longer manufacturing the 6-ply variant. Instead, sellers are shipping the 8-ply variant and hoping the buyer doesn't care or is fine with the substitution.

If possible, I'd like for this thread to stay on course, rather than devolving into a debate regarding 6-ply vs. 8-ply.

I do not wish to derail your thread, but as a new guy to "Tractor'n" .....Why?

The only thing I can think of is possibly "ride quality"?

Start calling tire dealers. Keep your fingers crossed.

99.9% of commercial emails and website contact me pages are either ignored or flooded by spammers selling boner pills, loans, sunglasses, russian girl friends, ...

I supect ,for Carlisle, they didn't sell a lot of 6 ply tires, made the call to stop production.

You have Brian Mulroney to thank for NAFTA and manufacturing leaving Canada. And don't forget to thank "Justine" Trudeau for eagerly dropping his pants to get "Trumped" and replace NAFTA with USMCA. We now have to buy Vaseline at a premium thanks to them.
