I have a 2005 Kubota L3400f I purchased about 7 months ago with just over 700 hrs. Everything has worked fine until about a month ago. The tractor without warning just shut off. I can now only get it to crank, run for approximately a minute and then it dies again and will start and then die only after you turn the key all the way to the left first and then crank it again. Have checked the fuel, fuel cap, all fuel lines, fuel supply is good and ground cable on battery. Upon advise of a mechanic I have changed fuel shutoff, fuel filter, fuel pickup pump, and have cleaned air filter. Tractor will run fine without fuel shutoff installed but you can’t shut engine off without it installed. Any advise

If it runs fine like that then you have narrowed it down a lot.
Since you have changed the fuel shutoff the problem must be that the shutoff is being activated in error.
Zoom in on that.

Breakout your wiring diagram. if it starts the starting circuit is OK, I'd suspect one of the run safeties or loose connector/ bad ground.

I'll go along with the safety suggestion. The one I'd look at most closely is the seat switch. If it thinks you have vacated the seat while the tractor is in motion it will shut the tractor down. You could try bypassing it. It is possible the seat is moving a bit on and off the switch. Check the seat pivots.

Yours sounds like a perfect example of throwing parts at a problem without diagnostics. I am not necessarily blaming you but obviously your mechanic's advice was listing items that "could" cause your problem without any tests being made. You have gotten some solid advice in the above replies. (y)

And welcome Sontag from Brookhaven. ;)
