I'm looking at a set of the Titan 1500 LB clamp on pallet forks for the B3200. I'm thinking I'll mainly use them to move logs while I'll clearing land to build our house. Should I get the optimal chain binders too?
I hated the clamp on forks until I picked up some 3300lb ratchet straps. They always turned when trying to get under logs. Now I have moved to regular quick attach forks and love them
Basically the clamp on forks wonder, and can ruin your bucket. Realistic expectations should be had for lifting anything so far out from the pivot points. I use mine for cleanup, moving the BBQ grill and other light tasks.
I have the chain binders but I use them for securing loads to my trailer, not the forks to the bucket...
I hear several on here talking about the clamp on forks but I'm thrilled with mine. I used the chains for a while and they actually started bending the bucket lip up so I quit the chains and the bucket has straightened out and hasn't bent since. they're stronger than my L3901 as I've tried to pick up or lift the tips of the forks and stall the hydraulics with no problems. With my Titan 1500# forks if the tractor will lift it the forks and bucket have handled it.
