So I’m looking at purchasing an LX 2610 tractor with cab. The clearance from my garage floor to my header is 83” . The specifications page on the Kubota web site says the overall height is 84.6 inches. Taylor I’m asking upon with the different types and sizes of tires would there be a difference in the overall heights in with the different tires. I’m looking to get the smaller tires because I’m wishing to use a front mounted snowblower with the tractor and cannot use the larger tires on the tractor. Therefore does anyone know if the R4 tires are smaller in height than the R14 tires or vice versa? Thanks

I cannot specially answer the "numbers" question .............. but I was forced to build a new shed just to place the BX in it for the same reason as you are facing.

It all boils down to gearing in 4wd - the ratio front to rear is internally fixed - so to change one means you must change the other. I do not think you'll get that 2" you'll need with any set of OEM tires.

Certain internal damage will be done if you drop the rears only.

here are your choices:
