Throttle/RPM gauge L3010

I was brush hogging this weekend and looked down and my throttle/rpm gauge (not sure exactly what it's called) was not working...however I could still use my throttle lever to raise and lower the RPM's without any problems....not sure if something could be just disconnected or what but figured i'd start out here where I know i'll get some good feedback and a place to start. Thanks!

Check your tach wire first. Both ends and fuse?

WV, I've got a 2001 L3010 which had the tach (rpm gauge) go out several years ago. The tach (rpm's) quit working, but the hour meter kept working. On mine the cable powers both and was ok. Does your hour meter still work?
