Our tractor, with Kawasaki twin cylinder power, has just over 200 hours and we always run premium fuel. Last night, regardless of throttle position, it began to surge, misfire and then ultimately stopped. It was worse with the PTO engaged to mow. It restarted but the problem continued. I removed and cleaned the spark plugs and it was better for a very short time.
My plan now is to replace the fuel filter and put new spark plugs in. Any other suggestions? THANKS in advance.
