I have noticed an electical plug in on housing just below the starter motor. It looks like a tachometer sensing unit that is supposed to trigger on the flywheel rotation. I see nothing on the flywheel to trigger it. I have found no reference to it in any web site. Does this engine have a tachometer option? Is this an option on the Carrier Transicold engines? Carrier provides no information in their manuals on it either.
