I have an L2501 with the FEL and grill guard. I plan on getting an offset flail mower and using my FEL control for the hydraulics instead of adding rear remotes. Obviously I'll have to take the loader off but this means I'll have to run weights on the front. What weights are compatible with the bracket already on the tractor?

It looks like standard 55lb. suit case weights will fit the mount. Source them locally if you can shipping drives the price up substantially. The cheapest I found them on line when I was shopping for them was $85+shipping - 
I bought mine from the local Kubota dealer for $55 out the door. Black and I had to paint them orange, but that was easy. Since I don't have a loader they are a lifesaver with heavy implements/attachments.
