I have the 2265. It has plenty of power. You split on both the forward and return stroke. Pretty fast.

Wow! $2730 😲

I paid approx $500 for my 20-ton HF splitter which also splits “both ways”. Been working perfectly for 4 years now.

(they’re priced at $1K, but are often on sale for much less… Fair Warning: Replacement hyd parts are reportedly scarce or non-existant.)

I really like the “log lifter” too.

If I had to split much wood (which I don’t), that seems almost like a “must have” as I get older. (y)

EDIT: I just noticed that there is an “electric motor” option…….

I have a "little mini” electric log splitter that I really enjoy, and one of the reasons I like it so much is because it's so quiet when in use.

The down side is that I would probably have to have “one hell” of an extension cord for that bad boy though. ;)
