Spent a day at the steam and gas show...
Went to the Shenendoah steam and gas show, in Berryville, VA. Got a call, and picked up a craigs list find, at the gate, a 2' long PHD extension, 2-9/16 diameter, for $80. Had to lug that heavy SOB about a 10th of a mile back to where my copilot was sitting, at an antique dealer. Walked through the flea market found 4 pairs of khaki uniform pants in my size for $20. Went down to the auction, found a box lot of brandamnew drum mower blades, with 30 of the ones I usually have to buy from my stealer for $4 a piece, got the whole BL for $15. Also picked up a 42" Gandy precision drop seeder for $70. Got in the truck, drove back through the mob, picked up the PHD thingy and a rocking chair that my pal had bought. On the way home stopped at a worthless flea market on the side of 340, only bummer of the whole day...
Oh weii, it couldda been worst, I coulda stayed home and worked..
