Hello all, new to the board...Thanks in advance. I have a B7510 HST and the Speed control pedal seems to have some play. It is to the point where I can not get off the tractor while running or it will stall out. I have narrowed everything down and it seems to be because the speed control pedal falls forward on its own after I come to a stop. Then I can often not get it started because the pedal does not rest in just the right position.

Sounds like something is missing or broken. The pedal on my machine has a torsion spring on the pedal for positive return. Check the parts manual and see if you can identify the problem. These guys will email you the parts manual for free.
