Many people would like a Grapple, but are crushed by the cost of the Grapple and adding a 3rd function control. I suggest you look a the "Brush Crusher" line by Westendorf. It does not require a third function control. They seem to be plentiful on the marketing web pages.

The model BC4215 with the center teeth are 238 pounds. The model BC4200 without the center teeth is a little less

Here's a review

As I get closer to buying a tractor, I think more about delaying the purchase of a grapple. It will always be high on my want list, But I am at $16K to $18.5K on the tractor and it is at the limit of my budget for this year. A used quick attach, ajustable pallet fork may be in my future ($300- $650 locally)

Here is a different design that I’m considering. Have to verify it will work with my pallet forks.

$800 to over $2K depending whether aftermarket self installed or dealer ??
OR . . . .buy a TYM T25 with one factory installed
You are exaggerating. Here is a simple example of a complete low cost electric valve. I put a manual valve on my L3901 for less. It was going to be temporary but its still there 3 years later...

Show me a similar priced kit for for a Kubota BX or B series . .. . .. . and then I will be impressed.
All I have been able to find low priced is "partial" kits. Most people don't have the skills or resources to complete partial kits.

You are new here :)

What model BX and loàder and with or without backhoe. Most are almost trivial and I will be happÿ to walk you through it. The hydraulics is as simple as hooking up two hoses.

Been thru the game of Metric vs SAE threads many times before. . . . . .getting the Metric parts can be difficult. Americans get confused by metric wrenches . . . . . . . let alone parts. No backhoe in my future.
My tractor decision is between Kubota B2601 vs BX2680 vs TYM T25 with respective FEL's Best price / value is on a low hour B2601. TYM has the 3rd function factory installed.

You sound like the "little engine that csouldn't"

There are very few metric hydraulic fittings on a Kubota. Tractor side is largely BSP and loader side is imperial. All readily available at your local hydraulic supply.

Have fun shopping.

Not really, some of us revel in it.

With Dan's help I installed a third function, 2 rear remotes, hard plumbed TNT, and PB loop.
I have no idea what I've got into it $ wise but it was much less than Kubota or most aftermarket co's wanted. And the functionality of my tractor has increased dramatically.
The info is out there.

Sounds like you're leaning toward the TYM.

I'm skeptical of the mechanical grapple. Yesterday, I used the hydraulic grapple on my L35 to haul trees to the burn pile from the road ROW. Sometimes I was raking stuff up and sometimes it was better to grab it claw-like. I don't see how the mechanical grapple can give you that flexibility.

I started with forks. As you can see, they can carry quite a load.

With limited funds, I'd go with the forks and forego the grapple until I was equipped with a third function. I still have uses for the forks besides hauling brush.
