sizing tiller/brush hog attachments for a b7000?

hi folks, does anyone have experience with sizing a tiller and brush hog for a b7000dt? it's a grey market tractor rated at 14hp with 10.5hp of pto quite similar to the 7100 but 650cc motor instead of 760cc.

i have been looking for a small brush hog rotary cutter to fit the b7000. there is a deere 513 brush hog for sale locally for a good price. it is 5' wide and i am sure over 500lbs. i am tempted to try it out and sell it on if it is too much. i don't mind mowing slowly and i have a year's worth of weeds i need to clear ouy on an acre and would love to get on with the job.

same issue with a tiller. there are some heavy built older 48/50" tillers for sale locally (howard/krone) but i worry they would be too much weight and i am better off with a 36" model or a lighter duty tiller.

With only 10HP on the PTO, 36" to maybe 42" ( if ground's already tilled ).
Had a Ford LGT125/36" tiller did a fine job on th2 1/2ac veggie patcxh...slower than molasses in January but BETTER than fighting a walkbehind tiller

A 5' rough cut mower is too much for a 10.5 PTO HP tractor. Much too much.

Expect to have a tough time with a 48" cutter.

thanks guys. i have done a little reading. the b7000 was sold new by kubota with a 48" tiller option, as was the more common b6000 which is a slightly smaller tractor with a smaller motor. i've also read first hand accounts of people using a 48" brush cutter with the b6000 and b6100. you need some front weight but it seems to work..

based on this i am looking for a 42" or maybe light duty or grey market tillers like the yanmar rs1200 48" tiller which i know will work. as for a cutter i will try and find a 4' model. no sense in pushing it. i'll also look for some front weights.

i also appreciate the comparison to a garden tractor like the ford lgt125. i had not thought about it but i've actually owned a few garden tractors including a "big" deere 317 with hydraulics and a 2 cylinder kohler of comparable displacement to the b7000 but a gasser not a diesel. this kubota has a lot more pulling power than the 317 to the point i wouldn;t consider them comparable. it might even out pull all my former garden tractors together. given the implements those garden tractors handled, i think i am comfortable with 48" attachments.
