My M9540 has been sitting at the dealer for a month now waiting to get a hydraulic shuttle issue fixed. The dealer has a service bulletin that details a procedure to trouble shoot this issue that involves installing test gages. The dealer has never done this procedure and is waiting for a Kubota rep to come and walk them through the procedure. Is anyone familiar with shuttle issues on this series? Basically there are times when the tractor won't move.

First, there was an issue with the shuttle shift cables, usually coming from cold weather. They have a revised cable and revised routing procedure. Just the other day someone called in asking about buying parts for a shuttle control valve, and we had to tell him you can only get the whole valve. Personally, I haven't seen failures with any M40 series shuttle systems at this point, but just recently Kubota sent out a bulletin about a diagnosis procedure and what to do to help find the problem. Best of luck, if the rep is coming out, I think your problem will be fixed soon. I have met the reps for the southern division and they seem to really know these tractors inside and out.

Can you describe the exact symptoms of the shuttle shift issue. It would be appreciated.
Thanks.
