Short top link?

I have a Kubota BX2200 and bought a 5 ft rear blade. When I tried to hook it up, the standard top link was too long—even screwed in all the way, it's about 2 inches short of fitting properly.
I temporarily used a short 12-inch top link to move the blade, but realized it has Category 0 pin holes (5/8") instead of Category 1 (3/4"). Do they make a short Category 1 top link that will fit?

You could use 5/8" (Cat 0) pins and bush up the tractor & blade end holes to Cat 1. A couple Cat 0-1 top link bushings cut in half might just work.

An AgSmart model 873-470 has a closed length of 13”. It’s listed as a 9” but that’s the barrel length, not the overall length. They’re available from various suppliers. The below is just an example. I have no experience with the below supplier so it’s not an endorsement.

There might be a shorter one out there, but that’s the shortest I know of. If that’s not short enough, most likely you’ll have to rig up some bushings as suggested in the prior post.

Check Tractor Supply (and presumably other ag supply outfits), who should stock top links in different lengths. Even Amazon has them.
