OK, I'm new to kubota, and have a question or two regarding my L2850 and its Glide shift transmission. I've gotten some conflicting info........
Do I need to use the clutch when shifting the shuttle shift? Seems like I should, especially to stop of course.
Can I shift gears 1-3 and 5-8 without the clutch as I was told by previous owner? Who also said that the shuttle shift does not need the clutch, but manual seems to indicate otherwise.
Don't want to damage the shifting mechanisms, or cause undue wear on the clutch, but the manual is less than clear to me, so a definitive answer would be very helpful. Thanks for any insight!
