I have owned my habitat land (57 acres) for 8 years now. I have not found a shed or matching pair , mostly due to the fact I am a full time user of a manual wheelchair and do not walk or spend time in the deer bedding thickets etc.

That being said I went down to the land today to jump on the tractor and work on the ice storm damage, moving downed limbs and trees. My good friend, whom loves to walk the property with a set of Fiskar loppers and prune oaks and lop off non native scot pines that pop up came along for the day.

Two hours later, with me doing my thing on the Kubota and her doing her's I decide to track her down and figure out what time we will take a break and eat lunch. After spotting her from a distance I see a big grin on her face, and as I get closer I see a antler in her hand. When I get close up, she not only has the one antler but the other matching one.

I know many here are used to finding sheds of all sizes , shape etc but this was a fun one for me!

They are just the right size to do a nice leather hand grip wrap, and lanyard to use them for rattling in that big buck! Seems to me that it would be ironic if I called in the buck that dropped these!

She found them a few feet apart under a large white pine. One tine busted off and mostly healed, and just the tips of two other points have a tiny bit of rodent damage.

Yep but hey I got a nice shed out of it, one of the grand daughters took it and used a hack saw and cut different sized buttons out of it for a vest she was making
