I don't think the universe seat will just bolt on. I have done several M7030 and M8030 machines. I removed the original seat. You end up with a plate with four studs sticking up. I bolt 1/2 inch plate to that and drill and tap the center of that to accept the new Universal seat. Works out very nice.
