Hi Guys:

It's taken nearly a year, but finally I have some peace of mind (and safety) when using my B7800 to pull logs or drag heavy objects. If the nylon strap or chain snaps, I'm pretty well protected now from the rear.

It also gives me a place to hang stuff (such as chains, wrenches, etc.).

The idea was mine and with some fabricating and design help from my neighbor, it's a done deal. Total cost was $300. I only did the painting & install.

It's a simple steel rectangle made from 2" box tubing and expanded metal. The openings on the sides fit the ROPS hinge and bolt through the existing ROPS vacant holes without compromising its structural integrity. (I did drill four #10 screw holes to use the QuickFist products for holding my compound lopper and wire cutters, but that shouldn't be an issue.)

There are rubber stoppers on the four corners of the tubing which unscrew snugly against the ROPS and keep the screen from vibrating.

Enjoy the photos.

All the Best
Dave
