I have a RTV900 that will drive along just fine, then it loses power. I take my foot off the pedal and it seems to hang for a second, then it releases. I sit for a couple of seconds and then all is well, however, it will do it again. It was just happening going up hills but is starting to happen on flat ground. If I drive slow it seems to happen less as opposed to having the pedal floored where it happens more. I typically drive in M but tested H yesterday and had the same issue.

Any thoughts?

First that comes to mind is how many hours on it and when was the fuel filter changed last.

Filter is on the right side, passenger side, between the engine and frame and close to the fuel tank. Follow the line from the bottom of the tank and you are sure to find it.

Is the HST fluid level okay? When was the last time filters were changed?

Hi, I've had the same problem this week (June 2011). The unit will now not start. I changed the filter last week and it obviously didn't solve the problem. I have the diesel and am wondering if I need to bleed the system?

What resolved your problem?
