Hi all, I have a 2006 RTV 900 that I bought new. Last year I was on an off road excursion went through some water (not the 1st time), got out stopped for a rest and when I got back into go it was just like it was in neutral. Finally got it to go a bit and nursed it back to the trailer. Got home and was advised by a dealer tech to change the HYDRO filters. I did and it has moved about just OK since then. It just doesn't have the snap that it had before, and if I get to a bit of a slope (not much at all) it will roll backwards or forward without taking it out of gear. It never did that before. I always had to use the pressure release valve even to get it out of gear if it were on any kind of slope. I did check the release valve on the rear end of the unit to make sure it was back in place. It was. Does anyone know what may be the issue with this lack of holding pressure in the hydrostat trans? Is there some sort of internal valve that may be allowing fluid to leak by causing this weakness in the trans? What should I check out. I miss the strong power I used to have with this unit.
Thanks
J. Rock
