Shot a short clip today while doing the one lot at church. "Underslung" 8' Fisher, grooved tires, liquid in rears, nothing on 3-point.

Nice! I love plowing snow.
Wouldn't own a snow mobile don't ski but having snow to plow can make me smile.
When I come in , wife asks, did you have fun?
Today though I don't need to and it is -8 and my 8N obviously has no cab. I added a front mount pump and my own hydraulic system then converted a dearborn blade for those from cable mount and have power angle too.
I used to plow my 300' plus driveway with a pickup but always a pain turning around where as the tractor love those wheel brakes!
Did I mention I love plowing snow? Like a kid in a sandbox!

Rolling off the blade like yours is a plus.

I'm another one who looks forward to pushing the white stuff around. Some Winters bring nearly no snow. It's great when we do get to have play time. Having a cab is the icing on the cake. The L4240 has a factory cab, but I built my own in 2012 for the last tractor after spending the first 22 years here without one. Call me a sissy, but I like being able to remove my jacket and stuff it behind the seat. The picture below is from 2 BC (two years Before Cab). Seeing it is like looking at a picture of a black finger nail. There's no pain now but you never forget what it feels like to hit your thumb with the hammer:)

We had somewhere around 6" here. The clip is from one of the two parking lots at church. This lot has no tombstones and off the right side of the tractor is a sidewalk that's flush with the parking lot. Starting on the right side I can push the snow off the sidewalk and just keep going.

The other lot has tombstones on one side only and they' run parallel near a fence. Pretty easy to avoid. Our driveway was the warmup before roading it about 1.5 miles to the church. Then there was another mile or so to the gun club to do a little more plowing.

This tractor has the HST Plus trans and auto throttle. It works nicely in MED-HI for almost all plowing. Long runs (not going uphill) with light snow can be handled in HI-LO.

The first clip is from the same parking lot back in '14 with the L3200 / DIY cab / Pronovost blower / DIY snow pusher (FEL with wings). We had a bit of heavy snow that turned to slush. Colder weather was forecast, so we wanted to get the slush off before it froze. Clearing lots was the main reason I sold the blower along with the L3200. Working across a snow covered lot required re-blowing snow several times due to the limited distance it would throw. Each time the snow density increased and it had to be removed with the loader after a certain point.

The second clip is from a neighbor's place where the snow behaved more like snow.
