Everything Attachments Lankshark Post Hole Digger/Auger

http://www.everythingattachments.com/Land-Shark-Compact-Tractor-Post-Hole-Digger-p/ls-phd-100.htm

Pros -

Cost at $749 with 9" auger
Purpose built for the BX for maximum range of motion if you use the inner pins on the yoke
Gorgeous Italian drive shaft
Much better construction than competition...end plates instead of crushed tubes...I might not have to rebuild this one.
Free shipping within 1000 miles of their shop in NC.
Works!

Cons

Horrible paint job. Extra paint on the top that had to be removed to allow range of motion. Paint had to be removed from one pin to allow connection.
Pain in the ass to hook up to the inner pins...had to attach the pins to the auger and then attach 3 point to tractor.
$100 to ship to Oregon.
Would almost like to see the top be an adjustable bolt to allow some range of motion adjustment...would also solve their paint issue.
Using outer pins with the BX gave me a maximum 18" of depth with a 36" auger.
Using Inner pins I was able to get 24" to 28" of depth. Note I am on uneven ground. Parking uphill of the hole gave max depth.
According to the video, the range of motion...while it would appear capable of running a 4' auger...is outside the limits of the driveshaft deflection.

Did you adjust the pto shaft length to allow shortness while down and not fall apart at max height?

I agree with everything that MacLean said. I like the beefiness of the attachment. However when you advertise a 36" after that should be the depth of hole not over all length of the and starting tip. I called everything attachment and the sales man who was very rude said it would do 31" No way 24 inch is the most I can get in my Bx2370. Looking to put a 12inch extension on it has I have 24inch ground clearance when fully up.

This was one of the main reasons I went with the hydraulic bucket mounted unit. Much better digging depth.

Wait until you get a 3pt really stuck and have to spend a couple hours digging it out.

What is the shaft type on that unit?
