Replacement Backhoe Bucket.

Hello all. I have a BX23 with the BT600 backhoe. It has been well used and I am now in the need of a bucket. The current bucket that originally came with the backhoe has cracked. I intend to weld and repair it but I am looking to purchase another bucket. Does anyone have any advise on where to look for a new aftermarket bucket?

Depends on what size you need. BXpanded has a 6" and a wide grading bucket.


DR Power sells a 9" bucket that will fit, but there is some monkeying with the pins. I have one on mine, but I don't recall the specifics. There's a thread on tractor by net with the details.

Many thanks. I did see a few options online but nothing that I was looking for. The bucket I currently have is a 12” digging bucket and I would like to stay that route. I did find a bucket at one of the local Kubota dealers.

A good arc welder with heavy amps should be able to fix that good enough.

Thank you. I agree. Eventually I will repair it. The bucket is old and is getting pretty fatigued and thin. I thought a new bucket would be a good addition since I use the machine so much.

A little hardware cloth covered with JB Weld should patch up that little gap in no time!

Duct tape; preferably EB green duct tape.

Yea, you should have stopped a couple hrs. ago. My Kabota buckets are really strong, you have got to be running a business to be wearing it that hard. A little late to weld now.

I got a bucket for my backhoe at https://rhinox-group.us/, great people to deal with, although my bucket is quick attach like an excavator. i do not know if they also make pin on buckets.
