So I have a few pairs of cutting edges and a couple of corkscrews from the Tractor Supply PHD that are pretty much dulled out from putting in 100+ posts in the Georgia clay. I have rotated the edges (in and out) to try to max the life but they look pretty well shot.

My question is whether or not there is a way to restore these to usable shape. I thought about putting the grinder on them but the cutting edge appear to be too rounded off and the corkscrew has no fine edges anymore.

I'd upload a picture but my iphone made a 5MB pictue and I don't know how to make the file size smaller so it will upload.

Thanks!

If you can weld with proficiency you can build up the corkscrew with hard rod and 6018 will do the cutting edges (and enable you do regrind them but if you aren't, buy new and scrap the old stuff.
