Rcf2072 dishpan

I need to put a new dish PAN on my R. C. F2072, it originally had a 30 inch dish PAN. The dealer sold me a twenty four inch dish. Pan, they had in stock with longer blades. My serial number falls after the manufacturing split, and online searches say it requires the thirty inch pan due to the gearbox changes. Is this truly the case, or can the twenty four inch go on with longer blades? Thanks in advance

Shows up as a land Pride rotary cutter. But yes a serial number would help.
Did you need to buy blades also? Or the dealer just trying to sell what they had on hand?

I was going to order the 30 inch pan but they had this in stock from a misorder and sold it to me with a set of new longer blades. But Ive been told the 24 inch could harm the gear box

It is a 6 ft landpride rotary cutter with parts marketed through the kubota dealers

The parts list indicate that at some point in the production run, LP went from a 24" carrier to a 30" carrier with shorter blades. But the gearbox wasn't changed, so the carriers must be interchangeable. I don't know why they changed. What is/are your online search sources?

The 2060 also had a 24" carrier, but not the same part number. Is yours correct for the 2072?
