Finally ordered and received a cheap Amazon quick hitch for my L2501. This one has a 2 inch receiver welded to the horizontal cross bar. The Amazon website included a picture of cutting off the receiver with a angle grinder if it interferes with a pto shaft.
The only implement I have with a pto shaft is a Landpride light duty rotary cutter.
I figured if it does interfere I will cut it off and then have a ready made receiver that I could use on the front bucket lip or find a use elsewhere for it.
Has anyone used a quick hitch with this feature and have pto shaft interference issues? It seem to me that the gear box for the cutter sits pretty low to start with, and when raising the 3 point would this not give even more clearance?
Anyways, love to hear from those that might have gone this route. It will be a few weeks or so before I get a chance to set the hitch up and connect to the cutter.
