What was most crazy to me (with my limited knowledge) was that it happened between 20 and 25 minutes into mowing, every time. The temp gauge was always still normal, but it must have reached a specific operating temp that caused a physical deformation. And when it happened, it was like a light switch. It went from full power to limp mode, instantly. I was surprised at the suddenness of the symptoms. Anyway, hopefully this thread can help anyone else out there who gets stuck in this same predicament.Faulty injectors. Makes sense, when they reach full operating temperature the needles can expand and allow less fluid to flow. I don't think Kubota uses mechanical injectors anymore, so they will be electronic. Fuel enters at a very high pressure and a solenoid pulls up the needle for a specific amount of time to allow fuel to flow, so if they are flawed, the needle isn't being pulled all the way back. Sounds like a good cause, sticking to it.
