Hello to everyone! I am new to the site and need help before I purchase a Kubota snow blower/caster.
As far as I can tell from internet research, the B748 snow caster is the model that fits the early B7100. I have had no luck finding a copy of the B748 manual so I could check out the pto interface to the tractor. I am going Thursday to pickup what I think is a B748 snow caster. The model number is long gone. It has been adapted to a B5200 which has a different pulley setup in the front than my 1979 B7100. The end of my crank has the cooling fan pulley with a stub that I think is 18 mm with 20 splines. I am really interested in the interface that the B748 had with this splined shaft out to the electric pto clutch so I can check this blower out before I buy it. If any one has a schematic or could explain the hookup, I would appreciate it. The first image is the front of my B7100D. The second image is the one sent to me showing how it was adapted to the B5200 using new fabricated parts. It looks to me like they connected it to the top pulley of his belly mount mower drive. I don't have a belly mount mower or the front drive for it.
