Hello to all. Was wondering if anyone on here would happen to know what the PTO cable adjustment procedure is for a MX4700? I have checked the owner's manual and the shop manual and can not find a procedure in either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

If you can't find a procedure check with your local Kubota mechanic. It is possible there is no adjustment. The cable may be routed incorrectly or the only adjustment may be replacement.

To adjust pto cable put it to disangage position usually will have a stopper on the pto valve at that position.. the cable end should just slide off the lever Easy with no tention, now engage the pto and make sure the pto valve lever do a acceptable stroke . I have seen on those valve that you can go further then needed. If you would really want to be picky about it install a pressure gauge on the valve and play with the adjustment until you get 0psi disangage and 326 to 355 engage
