Pricing question for L3130

Hi all,

I'm helping my dad sell his '03 L3130 HST with LA723 loader & BH90 backhoe. The tractor has 290 hours on it and has been regularly maintained by our local kubota dealer here in Manassas, VA.

I'm wondering what we might expect to fetch for something like this... I know the hours are pretty low for the mighty little 3-cyl diesel engine. And, other than a leaky valve-stem on the front tire, we've not had any issues with it at all. All service records are in tact along with the original bill of sale. It was purchased new in July of 2013.

I don't know about va but with the new tier 4 crap my dealer is very slim on used tractors and 0 2013 new models. They generally keep 30-40 new compacts and 15-20 70hp+ around as well as 30-40 used. No one around here wants the emissions crap and are paying a premium for a non tier 4 model. I got lucky and got a very good deal apparently on my 03 l3000dt 204 hrs fel plus other implements (5) for $10,000. But I took it in for service inspection and they wanted this old tractor. Offered almost new price for trade in value?? I know they have some markup but they only have 3 new and 4 used 50hp and below on lot (Kubota) that is.
