Pretty much guaranteed our power never goes out

Lost power yesterday due to the wind. Only for 2 hours, but it was so nice to hear that V twin start up!

Lost power for 20 hours and didn't know it until I started wondering why everyone on the road was black. Love having solar and almost 50 KWH of batteries on all my critical circuits. Best backup generator ever with no noise or smell. Our power goes out a couple times a month.

I have a mixed bag of lithium batteries in an highly insulated shed.

We were out for 18 hours Monday/Tuesday. First time in 18 months, first use of our automatic (Kohler) system Flawless. Genset is behind an outbuilding and the sound is barely perceptible at the house. Only way to tell it is running is the eight second start time to switch over and the messages on the phone telling my back on utility. The switch back is so fast. Never used more than 47% capacity! All electric except the first floor heat pump secondary is propane.
