Can anyone help me with my Kubota RTV 900? Power steering line got a hole (after 4000 hrs.) so replaced all the lines while we had it apart. All new lines on and filled the reservoir but feels like theres no power steering. Cracked the lines down at steering cylinder to bleed air out but still nothing.
The system is self bleeding as the wheel is turned back and forth.
A big problem with Owner hose replacement is a hose or two being put in the wrong place which stops the system from working.
Only you know how likely the above is.
Buying a pressure gauge, 0-3000 psi and measuring the pressure at the steering cylinder as the steering wheel is turned will be useful into but I suspect you have no pressure.
The steering controller is made to function as a manual pump should the engine stall and if this is not happening something is likely in the wrong place. This is called a GEROTOR standing for generated rotor.
