I bought a Lienbach 19-12 bottom plow for our L-2250. When I brought it over to the tractor I noticed that the link pins on the plow are about 18" apart. The lower links on the three point hitch are about 27" apart. Somethings wrong. I saw a video with this plow and a much larger Kubota. Here's the video:

I'll call the place where I bought it this afternoon. Did they ship me the wrong plow?
If I brought the lower links in far enough to get the link pins through it looks like links would hit the PTO guard and rip it off when raising the plow. Here's the plow I bought.

They had to do some fancy work to get that plow on the big kubota in the video. I guess they used the big tractor because thats all they had. But I was misled to thinking that it would go on a catagory 1 hitch because of the video.
The 19-12 plow is for narrow hitches on sub-compact tractors. I called Lienbach and tried to get them to sell me a 26" drawbar so I could mount the plow on that instead of the 18" bar it came on. No go. So I guess I'll get a piece of 3x3 1/4 wall square tube and let the local talent modify the part. It'll be cheaper than returning the unused plow and paying shipping three ways. I guess this is the price of the unknowing misled tractor enthusiast for attending 3 point hitch school. Keep making those great videos, But by all means use the right parts so I don't end up with a box full of filters I can't use and a gearbox full of maple syrup.
Thanks Vic!
