Yes.

I had to get some grade 8 bolts and havent had trouble since.

Other than the bolts I love the system but I have no others to compare to.

I also had an angle issue as you described. My tractor is much older and Im sure a lot more slack in the lift arm balls etc...and there is a considerable difference between relaxed position and under a load position. I believe it describes that in the installation instructions but I still had the same issues you were describing so I split the difference just a little.

Over time you can look at the wear where the 3pt lift pins have been rubbing on the quick hitches and possibly make adjustments as need be.

Good luck.

Thanks. I retightening everything today. Ill give the included hardware another chance.

I feel like when I'm tightening things down, with a simple 9/16 wrench, I'm going to break the grade2 hardware than came with it. I tighten and tighten and it keeps going so I stop and run the lock nut tight.

I guess I should look up the torque specs on grade2 bolts.

Exactly. I also had to take a grinder and flatten out a couple of spots on my lift arm ball swivel area where the adjustment bolts made contact because the Pats unit would not stay in position after a short period of usage. So like you I tightened but I tightened with a wrench to a point where I warped the threads and had a fairly hard time getting them back out. I wasnt able to use my air compressor at the time or that would have helped removing my grade 2 bolts. But after I got them all out it was then that I replaced them with the grade 8 and they havent moved since then and thats been several hours of use with all my attachments.
Anyway if they loosen again then there is no doubt in my mind that I would replace the adjustment nut/bolts. This is not the first time that Ive seen and read complaints about the bolts that come with them.
But like so many others that have used the Pats, other than the bolts, I love the quick hitch.
